Anzacs didn't fight for homosexuals

A letter sent to and published this week by Mildura’s Sunraysia Daily, a victorian city newspaper
Anzac Day is a day for commemoration and celebration of the Australian identity. I always understood Anzac day to be a day of rememberance for those service men and women (gay and straight) who fought for Australia. Apparently these 2 gentlemen believes that there were no gay men and women, who fought and died for Australia. Ignorant fools they are. I don't know what to be more disgusted at, the comments they made, or the fact they used Anzac day as a political platform.

A tweet from Jim Wallace, Managing Director of the Australian Christian Lobby
Ohhh and Mr. Wallace, many australian service men and women gave their lives so that people of all religions (including yours) and sexual orientation (including yours) can live here without fear of persecution. They did die so that you can spout your crap freely and so that I may vehemently disagree with you. Freely.
