When Brokeback Mountain meets Adele's Someone like you


Check out this incredible video clip by Gomnitus that mashes up Adele's Someone like you with the most heart wrenching parts of Brokeback Mountain. I have to admit that my eyes started misting half way. It reminded me how beautiful and powerful Brokeback Mountain as a film was and with Adele's song lyrics, it just tore at me. This clip was made by Gomnitus to promote the “Say No to Hate” campaign which fights bullying and promotes equality. It’s really a beautiful marriage of a transcendent song and film.

This clip is truly a moving piece of artwork. Beautifully done Gomnitus.... Let's all live with no excuses and love with no regrets...

  1. Just rewatched brokeback mountain. Never thought of rewatching it but after doing this posting, I could not help myself. I have not cried over a movie for a long time. But I could not hold back the flood any longer when Jake saw Ennis off after an argument and all he thought of that kept him together was the tenderness they once shared and how at the end everything was in vain because all Ennis holds are memories and regret..... It would be so sad to live this way.....
