The debate over marriage equality in France is reaching a fever pitch, and has sparked several incidents of violence and vandalism targeted at the LGBT community.

Watch - A Zulu Wedding Goes International


Two South African men tied the knot in a ceremony that brought together the Zulu and Tswana traditions. Tshepo Cameron Modisane and Thoba Calvin Sithol, both 27, were married in the town of KwaDukuza (Stanger). They walked down the aisle in front of 200 guests at the Stanger Siva Sungam community hall.

This wedding will probably go down in history as one of the most significant events in South African LGBTI history. Watch the grooms talk about their relationship and the preparation for the wedding after the jump

Watch - Big Brother Winner Propose To Boyfriend On Live Television Moments After Being Crowned



Something pretty amazing happened on Australian television last night - Big Brother contestant Benjamin Norris proposed to his boyfriend on live television moments after being crowned the winner of the reality TV show.

Norris, one of 16 housemates on the show, was the last contestant standing and won $250,000 when the ninth series of Big Brother Australia ended.

The 32-year-old accounts manager shocked the audience and host Sonia Kruger when, after he left the house, he got down on one knee on stage and asked his partner Ben Williams to marry him.

His partner enthusiastically accepted the proposal and the pair embraced before shouting: "We're engaged!".

Maine, Maryland, Minnesota and Washington voted on same-sex marriage on Election day. In Maine, around 54 percent of voters chose to legalize same-sex marriage and Maryland voters were also projected to approve same-sex marriage.

Madonna took to the stage at the Xcel Enegy Center on saturday night to urge fans to Vote No on the Minnesota Marriage Amendment at the upcoming election.

Madonna - "Vote 'no' on the marriage amendment. Vote 'no' on the marriage amendment. Why? Why? Because we are a democracy and we should have the freedom to choose who we want to marry. Watch - 'Invisible Parents' Short Film Highlights Gay Families' Inequality


Launching today to coincide with the UK's National Adoption Week, the 'Invisible Parents' online short film hope to raise awareness on gay parenting rights throughout Europe.

The short film features the voice of a woman reminiscing about a happy childhood with her two fathers, before stating that the majority of Europe does not recognize families with gay parents.

The film is directed by Mike Buonaiuto, the man behind Homecoming, the video that went viral earlier this year. Watch 'Invisible Parents' after the jump.

Brad Pitt Makes Major Contribution To Support Marriage Equality


Brad Pitt says he will give up to $100,000 to the Human Rights Campaign’s National Marriage Fund in marriage equality fights in Maine, Minnesota, Maryland and Washington. The actor has offered to double any contributions made to the fund in the next 24 hours, up to that $100,000 max.

Anne Hathaway Will Donate Proceeds From Her Wedding Photos to Marriage Equality


Anne Hathaway tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Adam Shulman last month in a beautiful outdoor ceremony.

But the actress is mindful of those in the gay community who do not have the same opportunity to wed the ones they love so she is going to donate some of the proceeds from the sale of her wedding pictures to support non-profits advocating for same-sex couples.
