Watch - Chris Colfer On The Effects Of Being Openly Gay

Openly gay Glee actor Chris Colfer said in a recent Q&A that he felt people have 'made a big deal' out of his sexuality.

The actor addressed the question on how being out in Hollywood has affected his career so far, by saying he felt 'pigeonholed', and that people had tried to 'typecast' him because he is gay.

“People try to pigeonhole you,” Chris said. “People tried typecasting me before they even saw me in something [other than Glee]. I never understood that. Like, ‘why don’t you wait ‘til my next project before you start telling me what my career’s gonna look like for the next ten years?’”
