Watch - Jordan Matter's Guerilla Dancing In New York

Dancers Among Us is a photo book by photographer Jordan Matter which debuted several weeks ago on the New York Times Best Seller list. The photo book featured dancers suspended in midair and leaping across iconic New York settings. It is a stunning series of photos depicting bodies in motion.

Check out behind the scenes video and some more photos from the book after the jump.

Jordan started his Dancers Among Us Project by asking a member of the Paul Taylor Dance Company to dance for him in a place where dance is unexpected. So, dressed in a commuter’s suit and tie, the dancer flew across a Times Square subway platform. And in that image Jordan found what he’d been searching for: a way to express the feeling of being fully alive in the moment, unself-conscious, present.
